Michael Detsky is the most incompetent immigration lawyer. After the many mistakes he made in handling my US spousal visa application my husband and I dismissed him as our lawyer and when it finally came to my visa interview I was told I was ineligible for a visa and must apply for a waiver which could take 12 months to approve because Mr Detzky stated to us that a previous ....NO CONVICTION to a light crime and only crime I committed 18 years ago was not going to be a problem to my visa being approved. This lawyer has cost us thousands of dollars heartache and stress.......there are definitely better immigration lawyers out there. He is judgmental ....and gave us false advice to very minor simple issues pertaining to my visa. He has caused unbelievable financial and emotional damage. This lawyer should be disbarred.
