Nice place to stay, open year round.
Nice quiet place, kids are in school [ Oct 2017] Leaves are changing. Close to family here. Owners nice, power went off n was back on 5-7 minutes no long at all. Spaces are small for me. Needs updated on a few things. Went to see the great lady Liberty. She sure is some thing to see in person. Standing under her n looking up unbelievable.
The water in the shower was so hot it was burning me, and there was no way to regulate the Heat with the knob! I had to get out and put cold water on my head because my scalp was burning. I believe that's against the law. There was only a fan for air circulation.
They should call this Pine Cone Last Resort. The lady has some issues. Every time I called it was a different price. She charges for everything. It's outrageous. She charged $75 for my road partners 1 year old. Extra car charge, a charge for a visitor for dinner, a charge if you have a washer, a extra charge for 50 amp vs 30, a extra charge for an extra ac. She's nice one minute and flips out the next. The husband is a bit slow and she treats him horrible. Steer clear of this place people. The guy behind us refused to use his bathroom and was always peeking outside. The other neighbor was charged $200 for power when she was only there 2 weekends out of the month. Our plug was smoking when we plugged in. They sent out the on site electrician and he said it was fine, it was getting power!! My husband is a union electrician, and changed it out for them (and us). There are much nicer places close. Timberland Lake is great!
Cute campground. Sites are a bit on the small side. We reserved a site for a tent with electric and water, but the only power connection was for an RV. We didn't have an adapter so I was glad I had batteries for things.
