My wife and I loved it here. It's such a great location with the campsites far apart, unlike most campgrounds. Perfect place to teach kids the true wonders of camping. Ranger was friendly and very knowledgeable.

Great quiet place. They have an archery range you have to bring your own equept. but it's free to use. Beautiful setting. During hunting season you can hunt there but you have to get a Park permit and also you must have a NJ hunting licence bow hunting only. I would recommend the Park to anyone you will not be disappointed.

Gorgeous campground with lots of trees and privacy. Large pull through spots with tons of room. 2 really nice playgrounds within a few minutes walk of our campsite, and a lovely small lake where you can fish and rent little boats. 3 washers/ dryers by the bath house. (Pricey: $2 for wash, $2 for dry - but to have them at a county campground is awesome!) The bath house is old and showers have a mildew smell. They are the showers where you push the button and get water for a few minutes, then water turns off by itself. I didn't use them; hubby said water wasn't hot but it was fine. Bathrooms have AC. Only real downfall of this place for longer term camping/ big rigs is no sewer, and only 30amp electric (no 50amp). If business brings us back here again in our RV, we'll absolutely stay here! Highly recommended.

Beautiful place with lots of trails and activities to choose from. Can't wait to explore it some more!

A beautiful place, but the Campground facilities and rangers are in need of updating. The campgrounds are beautiful, the setting is scenic, but the bathhouse is revolting. It reeks of mold and mildew and the 3 showers have mold and mildew all over the walls. A little bit of bleach or wet and forget would go a long g way. The rangers were extremely rude when asked about accommodating us for a few more days, I get it, policy, but don't compare us to homeless people when we ask for a two day extension. In addition the park requires a lock code to exit after hours. The lock is finicky, the code changes every Tuesday. They forgot to tell us the new code the last day we were there and I sat at the gate for over half an hour. Terrible. Why can't they tell me the code over the phone!? Net net. If you are staying a short period of time, have your own restroom, and don't need to come and go after hours or interact with the rangers, this place is amazing.
