Good food, but the past 2 times we ate here, we waited over an hour for someone to come and cook our food. They do not have enough hibachi chefs. I don't think that we will ever come back.
$200 for a family of six -- it would be nice if they mixed up the show a bit.
Highly recommended Hibachi joint - Great food, plenty of space for walk-ins and very friendly staff.
I'm shocked to read the bad reviews of this place describing poor service because even though the food was delicious, it was the service that made our evening great.
Only gripe is is the pricy one size fits all plates $27+/- and the super stale routine.... Flip spatula, toss food at everyone's mouth, onion volcano, plastic doll pees out fire, saki squirts for adults.... the end. When you drop
Good sushi. BYO which is nice to help keep the cost down. Never had the hibachi but it looks pretty good. Very nice staff.
We walked into Mahzu on a whim and have pretty much guaranteed a return visit. My wife and I were welcomed by the sushi chef and invited to sit at the sushi bar (where a free sushi appetizer is included)! He was helpful with recommendations, served our food promptly, and made sure the wait staff kept our glasses filled.
There's also a sushi bar but I'm not a fan of raw fish so I can't comment.
It was nice to see my friends have a good time at a birthday party at this restaurant but they knocked my byo beer over and took it away without telling me (while I was distracted), and also lied to me about getting free soup and then charged me for soup and salad which I did not request. And then argued with me. But oh well. I have never left a review of anything in my life and I've worked in Chinese food service so I know what people are like, but this honestly crossed the line.
