Suits my needs, plus it's not so crowded. Staff are professional and friendly maintaining a good n' clean environment. 2 thumbs up.
No fuss, simple fitness, good value. This judgement free fitness center has a ton of cardio equipment and a decent selection of machines but has very limited free weights. True to their marketing, clientele is primarily "lunk free" -- mostly modest middle agers and medium build teens and twenty-somethings. They offer free general fitness training but lack the popular offerings at other facilities like yoga and spin. Membership value is the best by far. No ridiculous startup fees, no contract commitments, and only $10 per month for basic or bring a friend and take advantage of unlimited massage and and tanning for a reasonable $20/month upgrade. Overall, a great starter gym or for casual fitness, but if you start to get serious you may find yourself outgrowing the amenities or feeing uncomfortable (ironically) about working too hard.
In short, it's a good value gym with great employees but they could do more to keep the facility clean.

This is a no frills gym. It has everything you really need to keep yourself fit and healthy. There are locker rooms for all guests as well as a tanning and massage area available to those who are the premium black card members. However, compared to other planet fitness locations, it is not as clean. Other planet fitness locations post the times they have cleaned on their TV's while the Freehold location does not.
This planet fitness also leaves their paper towels out on the roll on top of the trash can -- which I have seen fall on the floor many times. Their spray bottles are often broken or leaking with causes many guests to skip wiping down the machines.
Probably the best Planet fitness I've visited, their equipment is very well kept and the amount of weights they have are plentiful. The only thing I wish they had that probably keeps a lot of people out of Planet Fitness is the lack of a free weight bench and squat rack.
The employees are always nice and well mannered. They almost always greet you when you come in and say goodbye when you leave. They are also available when you need help or have a question.
